The Inner West Project

In 2025, we opened the largest “meanwhile use” housing initiative in the Southern Hemisphere in Ashfield. Jewish House and Women’s Community Shelters came together to transform an under-utilised site into a safe, supported community — delivering over 36,000 safe nights a year for more than 100 adults and children experiencing homelessness. Together, we provide transitional accommodation for men through Jewish House, and accommodation for women through Women’s Community Shelters, under one shared complex.

TOGA Group — donated land and buildings on a $1 lease
Jewish House & Women’s Community Shelters — co-led the initiative, providing frontline accommodation and support for men and women respectively
Housing All Australians — mobilised pro bono expertise and materials from across the corporate sector
FDC Fitout & Refurbishment — construction work and volunteer hours
Temple & Webster — furnished the rooms to feel like home

Fivex

A longstanding supporter of Jewish House and the Principal Sponsor of our annual gala dinner. Fivex's backing helps fund our crisis services year-round, and in return their name sits front and centre at our annual gala dinner in front of a room of over 700 people. 

SecondBite

Secondbite is one of Australia's largest food relief organisations. They ensure surplus food is rescued and distributed to charities and community groups. We are one of the community partners putting that food to direct use – making sure good food never goes to waste while people go hungry.

NSW Government

We work with the NSW Government to deliver crisis support, homelessness services, mental health programs and community initiatives that improve outcomes for vulnerable people. Government funding and policy support reach further because they're delivered through an organisation embedded in the community it serves.

The ORAH Fund

An investment fund that donates 100% of its management fees to Jewish charities, including Jewish House. It's a model built on shared benefit – investors grow their wealth, and that growth becomes a long-term, reliable asset for the community, with our clients among those who feel the difference.

Fashion Forward

Fashion Forward is a volunteer-run social enterprise that donates 100% of its proceeds to support women and children in crisis from all backgrounds. Their volunteers and customers get to give back and helps sustain our work with our most vulnerable clients. Since inception they have raised over $1 Million for Jewish House.

Multicultural NSW

We work together to strengthen community resilience, and provide culturally responsive support in times of crisis – a partnership that came into focus after the Bondi attack. Their funding and expertise strengthens our ability to respond, and in turn, our frontline experience feeds back into how they shape their own response.

Coles

Providing weekly food donations and hosting biannual community food drives across the Eastern Suburbs. Surplus becomes support – and it puts Coles' local stores at the centre of the community response, visible to the customers who shop there every week. 

Henry Schein

A valued partner providing essential goods like toilet paper and toiletries, and a proud sponsor of our annual gala dinner. These everyday essentials meet real, ongoing need, and in return Henry Schein's support is recognised publicly as part of the gala, aligning their brand with an important cause.

Ray White Double Bay

Supporting Jewish House by donating a percentage of profits from every property sale, a natural synergy between housing and homelessness. For Ray White Double Bay, it's a partnership that resonates with their staff, who get to see the synergy between the homes they sell and the homes we help provide thanks to their support.

AI Topper

A generous supporter of Jewish House and a valued sponsor of our annual gala dinner. Their contribution helps fund our services directly, and as a gala sponsor, AI Topper gets a platform in front of a room full of engaged, community-minded supporters and future clients. 

PHN

We work in partnership with the Primary Health Network to improve access to integrated mental health and wellbeing services, ensuring people experiencing crisis receive timely, coordinated and compassionate care. In return, the PHN gains an on-the-ground partner who understands the specific needs of the community.

OzHarvest

Partnering with us to fight food waste and provide nutritious meals to our community. Every collection strengthens OzHarvest's own mission too, extending their reach into a community they might not otherwise touch, and putting their food rescue model to work exactly where it's needed.
