About Us
In early 2020, Fashion Forward Founder Sharon Aaron was inspired by the belief that unused designer clothing could become a powerful force for good. That simple idea—that beautiful clothing sitting dormant in people’s wardrobes could create life-changing impact—became the foundation for what would later become Fashion Forward.
Nicole Katz joined as Co-founder and together they formed Fashion Forward, transforming Sharon’s original vision into the thriving volunteer-led social enterprise it is today.
What began as a simple idea—to give beautiful pre-loved designer clothing a second life while raising funds for women and children in crisis—has grown into a community built on transparency, consistency and purpose.
Every item sold supports Jewish House, funding crisis care and accommodation for women and children from all walks of life, regardless of religion, culture or background.
Today, Fashion Forward is much more than a fashion charity. It is a volunteer-led social enterprise where everyone wins. Donors, customers and volunteers alike have all become part of a community built on kindness and shared purpose. Together, they have helped transform preloved clothing into hope, dignity and opportunity for those who need it most.
